Remove BG: workflow and output
Separate an image subject from its background using an AI model running in the browser. The output is a PNG with transparency, useful for product cutouts and compositions.
How to use Remove BG
- Choose a clear image with a distinct subject.
- Start processing and allow the model to load on the first run.
- Inspect the checkerboard preview around edges before downloading the PNG.
Example and result checks
The synthetic sample returned a valid PNG with transparent pixels. Model loading took longer than ordinary image filters; the finished result downloaded successfully.
What this tool does not do
Fine hair, glass, shadows and low-contrast edges can be misidentified. This workflow removes the background; it does not replace it with a new scene or guarantee perfect cutout edges.
Troubleshooting and choosing the right workflow
If model loading fails, check connectivity and retry with a smaller image. Preserve PNG when you need transparency; converting the cutout to JPG removes its transparent channel.
