Image Info: workflow and output
Read an image’s decoded pixel dimensions together with its filename, browser-reported type and byte size. Use it to check an upload requirement before editing.
How to use Image Info
- Select the image.
- Process to produce the information report.
- Read or download the TXT result and compare dimensions with the required size.
Example and result checks
Our 800 × 400 sample reported those exact dimensions. Pixel dimensions describe its width and height, separately from its byte size.
What this tool does not do
This is a basic report, not a full EXIF inspector. It does not guarantee access to camera details, location metadata or print-resolution information.
Troubleshooting and choosing the right workflow
If an image will not decode, check that the file is a supported image rather than a renamed document. Use Image Resizer for dimensions and compression tools for byte-size changes.
