Flip Image: workflow and output
Reflect an image horizontally to create a left-right mirror. It is useful for changing the direction of a visual element in a composition.
How to use Flip Image
- Choose an image that is safe to mirror.
- Run the tool; this workflow has no direction selector.
- Check text, logos and other orientation-sensitive details before downloading.
Example and result checks
The output keeps the original width and height while reversing horizontal positions. A second horizontal flip restores the visual orientation.
What this tool does not do
This tool does not offer a vertical flip. Mirrored writing becomes backwards, and a mirrored document is usually unsuitable for submission.
Troubleshooting and choosing the right workflow
If you wanted to turn a sideways photograph upright, use Rotate Image instead. Keep an original copy if the image contains labels or other information that must remain readable.
