- Process and download the PNG.

The tool outputs a single 256 × 256 PNG image. A rectangular source is stretched to that square, so cropping first avoids distortion.
What this tool does not do
It does not produce a multi-resolution ICO file or a complete browser-icon manifest. PNG is accepted in many icon workflows, but the hosting platform determines supported types.
Troubleshooting and choosing the right workflow
If the small icon looks blurred or crowded, simplify the source design and use a stronger silhouette. Keep a larger original for future icon sizes.
