HTML to PDF

HTML → PDF: workflow and output

Extract readable body text from an HTML file and place it in a PDF. This is a text export for notes or simple content, rather than a screenshot of a web page.

How to use HTML → PDF

  1. Choose a saved HTML file.
  2. Run the tool and inspect the PDF text.
  3. Download after checking paragraph order and special characters.

Example and result checks

The test paragraph “Alpha & Beta” became “Alpha & Beta” in the PDF. Script and style text is excluded from the extraction.

What this tool does not do

CSS layout, images, hyperlinks as interactive elements and web fonts are not reproduced. Do not expect a rendered invoice or an exact copy of a website.

Troubleshooting and choosing the right workflow

For a faithful visual copy, use your browser’s Print → Save as PDF on the original page. Use this workflow when plain textual content is the desired result.

Related workflow

PDF → Images offers a different operation; choose it only when that result matches your task.

Processing and privacy: This workflow processes selected input in your browser. Required libraries or models can load from third-party hosts. Keep the original file, review the output and read our Privacy Policy before working with sensitive information.
